The Cloister's Marina at Sea Island brings back happy memories from when I lived on St. Simons Island. To capture this beautiful view, I set up my easel under the live oaks on the bank of the Blackbank River and painted while I watched the tide swiftly come and go.
While there, I chatted with an older gentleman who was very successful at crabbing at the bridge. I asked what he planned to do with his basket full of crabs and he told me his wife uses them to make a wonderful crab casserole. For the next several days, we greeted each other as I painted and he crabbed. Little did I know he would have more than crabs to bring home for his wife when I completed my painting — he purchased the original 11x14" directly from me on the spot.
Available as a fine art giclée print on archival canvas or paper — a perfect way to bring a piece of the Golden Isles into your home.
Caring for Your Giclée Print
To keep your giclée print looking its best, display it away from direct sunlight and high humidity. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth — avoid using water or cleaning solutions directly on the canvas. For paper prints, handle by the edges to avoid fingerprints and keep away from moisture. With proper care, your giclée print will remain vibrant for generations.
Each piece is hand-signed by the artist and shipped with care.
